Terms & Conditions – JEVI Logistics

📘 1. Definitions

• Contractor: JEVI Logistics, Doetinchem
• Client: the customer who places a transport assignment
• Goods: all objects that are to be transported

📄 2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all transport services provided by JEVI Logistics.

🚚 3. Services

JEVI Logistics provides transport services within the Netherlands and/or abroad using vehicles with a maximum authorized mass of up to 3,500 kg. In addition, JEVI Logistics offers a car pickup service and document courier services.

💶 4. Quotations and pricing

• All quotations are non-binding until confirmed.
• The stated price or quotation is always an indicative price unless agreed otherwise.
• Additional costs may arise due to waiting time, parking fees, or incorrect address details.

📦 5. Packaging and accurate information

The client is responsible for:

• Proper packaging
• Correct address details
• Providing information regarding value and fragility

🛡️ 6. Liability

• Damage is compensated in accordance with the carrier’s insurance.
• Indirect damage (delay, consequential loss) is not compensated.
• Force majeure (traffic congestion, weather conditions, breakdowns) is excluded from liability.
• Goods are transported at the client’s risk.

💳 7. Payment

• Payment term for goods transport and document courier services: 7 days (Express services must be paid immediately)
• Payment term for the car pickup service: immediate payment
• Reminder and collection costs may be charged in the event of late payment.

🗓️ 8. Cancellation

• Up to 24 hours before pickup time: free of charge
• Within 24 hours before pickup time: 50%
• No access at pickup location: full charge

🌦️ 9. Force majeure

Breakdowns, weather conditions, strikes, traffic disruptions, road works and other circumstances beyond our control are considered force majeure.

⚖️ 10. Governing law and disputes

Dutch law shall apply.
